Convinced that a handicap is not an obstacle to personal and professional fulfillment, Geodis set up its Foundation in 2007. The aim for the Group is to contribute to the social and economic independence of disabled persons and also to their success.

Placed under the aegis of Fondation de France, the Geodis Foundation expresses the ambitions of Guy Crescent (Chairman of Calberson from 1963 to 1985 and a poliomyelitis sufferer) and the values in which he believed: excellence, ability to surpass oneself and a desire to help others. The Geodis Foundation encourages entrepreneurship and initiative by disabled people through the Guy Crescent prize.

The foundation also encourages the involvement of Geodis employees through a project-support programme placing the emphasis on voluntary participation. Employees who wish to take part in initiatives supported by the Foundation can thus contribute to initiating and managing projects, or provide technical or functional expertise.
