"...There's no reason why women can't work in the transport business..." |
I started out at the Group in August 2000, as a transit employee for Geodis Overseas France. From there, I became export manager for Asia and then manager of the Export department.
I'm now working at head office on a project to set up a new information system. This job puts me in contact with all kinds of people from all over the Group. It's very rewarding.
There's no reason why women can't work in the transport business. In operations, for example, you just have to be able to assert yourself. As far as I'm concerned, the recognition I get at this company for the job that I do is exactly the same as for anyone else in a similar position. From my point of view, at Geodis, we don't differentiate between people for their gender: it's what they can do that counts. |
