...I bring a certain degree of diversity, which helps improve our working environment... |
When I started out at Geodis in 2001, I was in charge of various admin-related tasks. I also helped the drivers dropping off or picking up cargo by supplying them with the relevant documentation. Since October 2005, I've been managing the sea freight department and handling a new account. This involves working with this company and the warehouse employees to plan the delivery schedule.
In my line of work, which is quite a male-dominated environment, I have had to make myself respected, particularly with the drivers. For me, the secrets to my success have been taking my work seriously and completing the tasks assigned to me.
As a woman working within a mostly male team, I bring a certain degree of diversity, which helps improve our working environment. It's a good thing for the company. |
