I've done a bit of everything! I started out as assistant to the operations director in 1990, then moved to the "insurance/disputes" team and I've also managed maintenance and user support in the IT services department.

Naturally, it hasn't always been easy. We work a lot of hours in our business and I've often got home too late to help my two daughters with their homework. Nevertheless, my natural curiosity, attention to detail and satisfaction at a job well done have all helped me to move my career forward.

In 2004 I started working on a warehouse management system. I love maths puzzles so this really is my ideal job. My other secret weapon is humour. Being able to make others laugh is the best way to create a good working environment.
