A woman's touch at Geodis

The transport and logistics sector is generally perceived as a male-dominated environment. Geodis stands out from all the pack thanks to its successful facilitation of access for women to all roles and all core businesses (distribution, freight forwarding, logistics and full truck loads), regardless of the customer industry sector. They now represent nearly 30% of the Group’s total workforce worldwide.

The 34 profiles gathered here are an example of the wide range of missions and responsibilities assigned to women at the Group. Whether agency manager, accountant, order-picker, driver or sales rep., these women bring an alternative point of view to Geodis in terms of the Logistics business, as well as their determination and efficiency. Not to mention their capacity for sharing ideas and responsibility with their male colleagues. For them, as for the Group, mixing the genders enriches the working environment, day in, day out.

In Europe, Africa, America and Asia-Pacific, these women demonstrate the fighting spirit, commitment, passion and energy that make them a credit to the company.

Through them, and to mark International Women’s Day 2007, Geodis pays tribute to all 7,215 of its female employees.
