A strategic partnership policy for the Group

To assist our customers around the globe, Geodis relies on our own strengths as well as those of reliable partners. Implemented by the Networks Division, this policy is based on long-term agreements with successful operators. The goal is to create close ties with these partners in order to offer the same range of services on each continent and in each country.

In 2002, this policy led to the signature of a major agreement with Rohde & Liesenfeld for sea and air freight forwarding.

Created in 1954, Rohde & Liesenfeld is headquartered in Hamburg, Germany. This company, specialising in international freight forwarding, is present in 34 countries with 72 branches and 850 employees.
Rohde & Liesenfeld's know-how is a reference in the field, especially in the general cargo market and for industrial projects. Feasibility studies, risk management and specific transportation are among its widely recognised areas of expertise. The company will reinforce Geodis' expertise in overseas markets and will improve our coverage in the United States, Australia, South Africa and South America, where the partnership ensures the continuity of the Group's services.
