When it replaced the bedding in its night trains, SNCF and Geodis decided to make a major donation of duvets to local governments and charities. The beneficiaries of the operation are local governments, which distribute the duvets to accommodation centres, and local charities, including the Red Cross, Secours Populaire, Samu social Paris, Restos du Coeur and Secours Catholique.

The Geodis racing boat was baptised today by Gévrise Emane, 2011 Judo World Champion and a member of the Geodis Team of 10 Paralympic and Olympic athletes supported by Geodis. Also present at the ceremony were Pierre Blayau, chairman and chief executive officer of Geodis and members of the Mira association, the leading European centre for the education of guide dogs for children, which will be represented by Fabrice Amedeo and Armel Tripon competing in the Solidaire du Chocolat transatlantic race starting in Saint-Nazaire on 11 March.
